Hello,
I was invited by @_PurplePain_ on Twitter (I assume one of the mods) to join this forum because it sounds like we may have a lot in common.
Here's a link to my most recent blog, The New Year's Top 10(11).

I'm currently working on a blog about a rube’s analysis of Rick Spielman as GM. Watch for that in the near future.
Again, thanks for the invite. I look forward to connecting with you and helping each other get through difficult times.

I’m a snarky, sarcastic, fatalist 45 yo recovering Gopher football season ticket holder and lifelong Minnesota sports fan. I wrote for my school paper in college but I am NOT media. I'm a rube, like many of you. In my real life I am a 20 year middle school teacher/coach. Having said that, I have created a documentary film called WHEN-ESOTA? about being a disappointed Minnesota sports fan. (Think 30 for 30) I also have a blog where I post my ramblings and rants about various Minnesota sports topics. One of those blogs turned into the Minnesota Sports Disappointment Calendar, a day by day listing of the events that make us who we are. You may have heard KFAN's Dan Barreiro refer to the 'Calendar of Calamity' and refer to the whenesota Twitter handle? That’s me.
As an amateur film maker I have no access to the photo and video copyrights that I use in the film so I'm trying to build a following on social media in hopes that the film get produced by someone who can help me secure those copyrights. Also In the film I am using mainly Minnesota musicians: Tim Mahoney, GB Leighton, Tina Schlieske, Michael Shynes, The Billy's and I've gotten their blessing to use their music in the draft (Princes estate turned us down). Honestly, I don't even care if I make money off the film, it would be nice, but I really just want Minnesota sports fans to see it because I think they would identify with it. In some weird way I also think it might help us get over the hump, much like Believeland did for Cleveland.
Anyway...just wanted to introduce myself. I'm sure I will inject some opinions into some conversations at some point, but I wanted you to know who I am before then. So feel free to follow us share and retweet. It all helps. FYI we're on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
