Vikings Stats Above/Below Opponent Average

Did you ever wonder how the Vikings did against an opponent compared to what the average opponent did to that opponent? Well I got you covered with the following little charts. I had to wrap them in spoilers to keep from blowing your pretty little minds with data overload.
But no, it's pretty straight forward. We'll take the very first line for example. The Vikings scored 24 against the 49ers in the opener, and the 49ers defense has given up an average of 27.17 PPG through week 14, so the Vikings were -3.17 below average against the 49ers in that category.
Also keep in mind that the averages exclude what the Vikings did to that opponent, so yep I went the extra mile and put the spreadsheet to the test for this one, and I did it for every team so I could give them a rank too. More on that later. First the Vikings game by game results.

Isn't it glorious? In conclusion, the Vikings were better on average in 72 of the 130 opponent categories (55.4%). 31 (47.7%) on offense and 41 on defense (63.1%). So what did you learn? You learned it all, that's what.
Next I'll post where all the teams rank because unlike those half ass pundits who are like Chris Hansen walking in on a first date leaving you blue, I'm a stat whore who goes all the way. Yes sir, none of that back seat over the shirt 2nd base nonsense here, we're going balls deep, so strap on because it's about to be nothing but asses and elbows.
And yes I started this last week so it doesn't include week 15 ... yet. I'll include that in the end of season, parents won't be home, bring a box of rubbers and rohypnol final edition.
