HaHa is a solid player, who has put up some pretty good seasons. Even his last year was statistically solid, for both GB and WAS, despite the Packer fan's complaints.

I think he is solid but Amos has out produced him as a whole. Amos is also much more expensive though. Still, Amos isnt the exact replacement for HaHa, as Amos will be the starting SS for GB.

Amos was very expensive. Probably overpaid to be honest. Could even argue GB overpaid for the Smiths too. Unfortunately GB had their backs to the wall and needed upgrades in a major way (thanks Ted) and the only way to get it done was open the checkbook. Not even mad though. Amos/Savage is a huge upgrade over HaHa/Brice. P/Z Smith is a huge upgrade over Mathews/Perry. I can't wait to see what Pettine does with some real players.

Pagano is a DB guru though so he might be able to get more out of HaHa. Maybe he was just holding back to get out of GB? If I recall Wash didn't even make him an offer to stay and signed Collins instead

Yes. He averaged 5.5 ypc with Brett Hundley. That is also his total career average.

Aaron Jones has the potential to be a top 10 HB - and with McCarthy gone, the Packers should be able to get the ball in his hands more often. I've drafted Jones in 3 of my 5 fantasy leagues, so I'm certainly counting on it to happen.

I find it hard to call a guy the best HB in the league when he hasn't started more than 8 games in a season and hasn't had a season with 130+ carries this year.

How could I be an anti-Packer if I'm relying on him so much? I call him a top 10 HB, but apparently that somehow makes me biased against him... even though I view Jones more highly than most Vikings fans/fantasy players out there.

I dont think a RB has ever had 200+ atts with Rodgers in a season. That isnt going to happen and it's pretty silly to fault a RB for that.

He has had the sample size you speak of anyway, just spread over two seasons of football. I'm not seeing what the objection is here. How could there be any doubt that he is a top 5 RB.

I'm not saying your anti anything it just seems pretty clear that there isnt much rational reason to question he has been a very top RB to this point.

Lacey got almost 300 touches in both 2013 and 2014 before getting fat and injured. I'd have to look it up but I cant think of any one else off the top of my head. It's pretty much been RB by committee since then and MM had no idea how to actually use Aaron Jones. Reallllllly hoping he gets unleashed this year.

2014: 246 carries + 42 catches

Vikecycle's argument doesn't hold water, the Packers can absolutely give a HB 200+ carries with Rodgers at QB.

Ok but does that make him the best rusher in the league? You do realize that sample size can skew ypc quite a bit? As a player gets more touches over a season, his ypc will likely drop, even though that doesn’t make you necessarily worse?

Like I think Aaron Jones has been under utilized and has a lot of potential but to say he’s been better than say Todd Gurley or Ezekiel Elliot in the past two years is a bit much.

He has had 200+ carrys on his two season career with that average. Surely you wouldn't be saying this if he averaged that on 200+ carries in a single season?
