Bettors have spoken: The Chicago Bears and the Cleveland Browns -- and their young quarterbacks -- are public darlings at Las Vegas sportsbooks.

There are more bets on the Bears to win the Super Bowl than there are on any other team at multiple sportsbooks. The Browns are right behind the Bears in Super Bowl bets.

"It's been kind of overwhelming, the support [for the Bears]," said Alan Berg, the senior oddsmaker for Caesars Sportsbook. "Every time the Bears go to the playoffs, the following year, the money just pours in. Everybody gets optimistic."

The Bears are 9-1 to win the Super Bowl at Caesars, the fourth-best odds behind the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs, who are co-favorites at 7-1, and the New Orleans Saints at 17-2. The Browns are 10-1.

Those five -- the Patriots, Chiefs, Saints, Bears and Browns -- are the only teams that have already attracted more than $1 million in Super Bowl bets at MGM sportsbooks in Nevada.

Geeez, the Browns are starting to remind me of the Dream Team Eagles back in 2011. Sure they look good on paper, but they haven't won diddly yet. And they're the Browns. Can we give them a year or 2 to prove themselves before we crown them?

Well they did go 3-1 in the preseason, with their only loss coming on a last second FG. 3-1 teams win the division more often than 4-0 teams, but not the Super Bowl. Glad to see you've already accepted that data. *thumb_up*

Packers waived QB DeShone Kizer.
Earlier this offseason, Kizer said, "I don't see myself as Aaron Rodgers' backup for the final era of his career. I see myself as a future Super Bowl MVP." Getting waived one year after being traded doesn't exactly put Kizer on a Super Bowl MVP path, but he will likely get one more shot at sticking as a backup. Kizer has 11 career passing touchdowns and 24 interceptions.

Kizer lasted one season, and was acquired for Damarious Randall, the Browns' starting FS. This turned out to be quite the disastrous move. A second year UDFA named Tim Boyle will take over the Packers backup QB spot.

And that move has now turned into Amos/Savage. I think GB is much better off. The era of no defense in GB is over. The NFC North crown comes back to Titletown this year.

This is the first time I've heard that Randall was a cancer in the locker room, so I suppose that would explain the trade, but it makes the 1st round selection of him look worse in hindsight.

Getting Amos was a solid move, I'll give you that. The Bears fans over at Chi-Town forums think Clinton-Dix is a better safety than Amos, but I disagree with that (and I'm sure you do, too).

They were going to cut Randall anyway, so I'm not sure the poor decision comes down to the trade. Rather, it is more so their decision to draft him, and play him at CB.

Also, I think they used the Brown's pick to draft Aaron Jones, who has been the best runner in the league since being drafted.

We are THRILLED Dix went to ruin Chi's defense lol. I give it 4-5 games of missed tackles and blown coverages and they will understand how much they downgraded losing Amos. Their front 7 will hide some of his faults but I think teams will key in on him and light him up. Also Bears fans seem to think losing Fangio for Pagano won't make a difference. I think their D takes a step back this year. They face some pretty high powered offenses with good QBs, lost 2 starters in Amos and Callahan, and their DC so it's a whole new scheme to learn. Welcome to a 1st place schedule Chicago - enjoy your trip back to 3rd or 4th in the division. :)

You can call me a homer but I think this year GB and Minn fight for the crown. Lions might shock some people and win some games they really shouldn't...but they are the Lions so I doubt it. If the Lions take a game or 2 from Chi and Minn I'll be happy. Looking at Chi's schedule I just don't see them taking the division again. And cap issues are going to force some major cuts next season. Back to the cellar they go.

Yeah, the Bears fans were ecstatic to sign him on such a cheap deal... but isn't that telling that Clinton-Dix only got 1/$3.25M on the market? Taking a discount to play for the Bears is one thing, barely getting any money on the free agent market is another.

HaHa is a solid player, who has put up some pretty good seasons. Even his last year was statistically solid, for both GB and WAS, despite the Packer fan's complaints.

I think he is solid but Amos has out produced him as a whole. Amos is also much more expensive though. Still, Amos isnt the exact replacement for HaHa, as Amos will be the starting SS for GB.

CHI never sustains success. I forsee them taking a big step back as well. GB and Minny I can being almost anywhere on the spectrum. DET will blow unless Stafford has a great year.
