I have never watched Mahomes pitch as a Twin, I didn't watch them that far back. Pat just happens to be my favorite QB prospect from the 2017 draft, so I'm interested to see how my opinion on that will age.

Meanwhile here's the bad day by Taysom Hill the other day that Danchat mentioned. It's not every play, just the bad ones. Oh and his beautiful 43 yard run lol. Dude should maybe think about playing RB or receiver.

Not gonna lie, out of the 1st round picks, Josh Allen looks the best so far. In the pocket he sorta reminds me of Rodgers. He's able to slide around and avoid pressure and when he takes off he keeps his eyes downfield. He's elusive. The arm ain't too shabby either. Not afraid to take shots downfield.

Other than Darnold against the Skins, I don't think any of them have started yet, or gone up against a 1st string defense, so it's hard to really tell where they're at. Against the Skins starters, Darnold didn't throw a single pass over 5 yards. Out of all of them, Allen looks the most confident in the pocket as everyone else seems to have a major case of happy feet.

Jackson is not very accurate. Anything more than 10 yards downfield and it's a crap shoot, and the deeper he goes the worse it gets. No touch to speak of either. His speed doesn't match all the hype it gets. He's struggling to beat defenders around the corner on the read option and I haven't seen him make a defender miss him on a scramble yet, and he hasn't even gone up against a 1st string defense yet. I think Flacco is safe for now. The comparisons to Vick are unwarranted IMO. Vick was scary fast and scary elusive. In fact Joe Webb is a much better scrambler and more elusive than Lamar. And at this point I'd say Joe is the better passer too. He's had a few extra years to work on that however as he was pretty bad himself in that department once upon a time.
