What would happen if a QB played a 20 year career as the league’s most accurate passer of all time? by LAZYTOWWWWWN
How accurate could one Quarterback possibly be through every year of his career and what would come from it? What I did was take the most accurate season (using completion percentage) a QB at a certain age ever had, and strung them all together into one career. (Minimum 200 attempts and in Super Bowl era to keep things interesting)
In this post, we’ll follow the career of made up Quarterback Acura C. King (Accuracy King)
(example: for the age 22 season I can only use the most accurate season a Quarterback has ever had at age 22. The same QB can be used more than once.)
Age 21 - Teddy Bridgewater (2014): 64.4\%, 259/402, 2,919 yards, 14 TD, 12 Int, 85.2 Passer Rating
In his rookie year, King only started 13 games and put up rookie numbers with less than 3,000 yards. His 64.4% completion percentage was top 5 best ever among rookies. His TD to Int ratio needs work if he's going to succeed.
Age 22 - Ben Roethlisberger (2004): 66.4\%, 196/295, 2,621 yards, 17 TD, 11 Int, 98.1 Passer Rating
Starting 14 games this year, King surprisingly threw for almost 300 less yards than last year but his touchdowns went up and he cut his interceptions down. Acura C. King took his team all the way to the conference championship but lost. You can't ask for much more from a second year QB.
Age 23 - Dak Prescott (2016): 67.8\%, 311/459, 3,667 yards, 23 TD, 4 Int, 104.9 Passer Rating
In his third year, King finally managed to play all 16 games in a season where he shattered his career highs in every stat and only threw for four interceptions. But even with a bye, King’s squad faltered in the divisional round.
Age 24 - Trent Edwards (2008): 65.5\%, 245/374, 2,699 yards, 11 TD, 10 Int, 85.4 Passer Rating
Injury riddled, it was a surprisingly down year for King, who had made the playoffs the last two years. With stats comparable to his second season, King's squad finished dead last in their division.
Age 25 - Carson Palmer (2005): 67.8\%, 345/509, 3,836 yards, 32 TD, 12 Int, 101.1 Passer Rating
Acura C. King proved he could really play in the league this season. He showed that he was able to come back from a down season by starting all 16 games and improving upon every stat from last year. Despite a great performance in the regular season, his squad was defeated in the Wild Card round. Who knows what would happen if he consistantly cut his interceptions down?
Age 26 - Troy Aikman (1993): 69.1\%, 271/392, 3,100 yards, 15 TD, 6 Int, 99.0 Passer Rating
King didn’t have the best season yards wise, but setting a career high in completion percentage and throwing only 6 interceptions, he led his squad all the way to the NFL's biggest stage and a defining victory in his first ever Super Bowl appearance. After 6 years in the league, he is a world champion. Acura C. King now has ONE Super Bowl ring
Age 27 - Kirk Cousins (2015): 69.8\%, 379/543, 4,166 yards, 29 TD, 11 Int, 101.6 Passer Rating
Breaking the 4,000 yard mark for the first time in his career and winning the division, Acura has established himself as a QB not to be reckoned with. Despite this, he was defeated in the Wild Card.
Age 28 - Sam Bradford (2016): 71.6\%, 395/552, 3,877 yards, 19 TD, 14 Int, 99.3 Passer Rating
At age 28, Acura C. King set the NFL record for pass completion percentage. Despite a 5-0 start and a 90% chance to make the playoffs, King's team collapsed completely after the bye and failed to qualify for postseason contention.
Age 29 - Brian Griese (2004): 69.3\%, 233/336, 2,632 yards, 20 TD, 12 Int, 97.5 Passer Rating
King only started 11 games this year and it showed. For the first time in 5 years, King did not break 3,000 yards in a season nor could he qualify for the playoffs, with his squad finishing last in their division.
Age 30 - Drew Brees (2009): 70.6\%, 363/514, 4,388 yards, 34 TD, 11 Int, 109.6 Passer Rating
Breaking 70% Completion percentage for the second time in 3 years, King showed why he is becoming one of the great ones. Coming back from a down campaign last year, this was easily his best season as he led his team to a first round bye, a home victory in the conference championship, and a Super Bowl victory. He is starting to be compared to Drew Brees and Peyton Manning along with more great QBs. Acura C. King now has TWO Super Bowl rings

After his 20th season, the arguably greatest of all time hangs it up. See you in the hall, King.

224-119 Career win/loss record (Including Playoffs - Most wins all time, 12th most losses all time)
14-5-1 , winning season/losing season/8-8
CONCLUSION
Unsurprisingly, if you are the most accurate QB of all time, you’re going to have a Hall of Fame career. Acura C. King is only the 13th QB in the history of the NFL with multiple Super Bowl wins. He set the record for career passing yards, completion percentage, and completions. He is tied for the most touchdown passes ever, and over the span of 20 years, only threw 198 interceptions. Brett Favre threw over 300. Including the playoffs, King has the most wins ever by a QB, just one more than Tom Brady. He’s certainly a first ballot. Where do you think this fictional QB ranks among the all time greats? Thanks for reading. The off-season is boring
