So here we go, a side by side look at the grades these 11 sites gave every team. As you can see, it's all over the place. I then assigned a number value to each grade to come up with a consensus or average grade for each team and ranked them accordingly. The lower the better. CBS was a little generous with the grading give over half the league an A or better, while USA Today was pretty tough giving over half the league a C or lower.
Apparently Arizona won the draft and Seattle was a big time loser. Poor Rashaad Penny. In fact Seattle got the only F (from USA Today) and only Chad Reuter gave them higher than a C. The Giants got anywhere from an A+ to a D- so I guess it depends on who you ask and how they feel about RB's lol.
And once again it's confirmed, the Vikings had a pretty meh, average draft. Exactly average in fact at 5.45 which brings them in at 17th. CBS gave us our best grade of an A- while USA Today and Yahoo gave us our lowest grade of a C-. Sadly everyone seems to agree that Chicago and Green Bay had great drafts, but at least the Lions did poorly.
Key:
I used the top sites when I googled NFL draft grades so that's the reason for selecting these particular 11 sites. I wanted to include PFF, but they didn't give letter grades, they just gave a generic elite, good, or average type "grade". C'mon PFF, what's that nonsense? I couldn't find team grades at ESPN, and Mel Kiper Jr isn't sharing his grades unless you're an "insider". Get bent Mel, Danchat proved your "expert" analysis isn't all that great anyway so I'm sure your grades weren't much better.
