Yesterday I had to catch some of the draft driving to see Avengers--great superhero movie btw--and there were a couple picks where the presenter was not clear with their announcement, or they were carrying on with 'extra'. Maybe it was because I was in traffic, but I thought "Geez if my son was getting picked I would want that moment about my son" and with all due respect for the presenters I would rather just have the commissioner, or preferably someone that is not booed, announce the names out of respect for the drafted player.
Goodell is coming out with a kid in a wheel chair, families of fallen veterans so the crowd doesn't boo...that is how I see it.
I know the point is to appeal to fans other than the hardcore NFL fans that will watch regardless but I hope at some point there is a better interviewer than Deion, and less hoopla around the announcing of the picks.
Steve Smith, AIkman, joe Klatt, Mayock all are pros... I would rather SMith do the interviews over Deion.

- The old players try to play to the crowd...Irvin and Pearson are on the mic wanting a WR before the Connor Williams pick
- Deion is acting like he is holding back tears and cannot interview the kid that was just drafted after Shazier came out. Deion repeatedly tells Ozzie Newsome that he loves him...after Lamar Jackson was drafted. Make it about the guys that were just drafted, Deion. Geezus
