With the QBs it's hard to predict what will be left at 30, but I think they'll get a better player than we might expect.

OL at 30

As Mayock says, it's not a "sexy pick" ... but I think we go that route.

As Levi mentioned, the QBs and where they land is going to be interesting ... and may impact what the Vikes do. Four trade offers/inquiries already, as of yesterday...

I don't want to trade out of the 1st, but I've made peace with it if we do. Why? Because round 1 is going to be a fun ride!

The reason why I want the Vikings to take an offensive lineman in the first round is because most if not all the current starting O-linemen are average at best. We need a game-changer at guard or tackle. It's easily our weakest position on the roster, so I'd rather not wait until the second round.

I would be fine with trading down into the second round and netting a 4th or something like that, but it would make today's draft a lot more boring.

I don't have strong takes on lineman in general.

I'm really not sure what Spielman has in mind which is both fun and scary lol. He's said if the right player falls to us he won't trade back and it could be a non O-lineman so I really don't think anything is a LOCK right now.

Some things of course likely have a higher probability of happening like trading back and drafting an O-lineman so the "smart money" should be there I suppose but it wouldn't surprise me if he over values a guy like Courtland Sutton (we've seen that with Patterson before) and takes him. We've also seen when a talented player slides he's willing to pull the trigger on a Shariff Floyd.

So I'll vote for BPA.

I wonder where Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame will go.
