I've seen a lot of appreciate threads on here but the real people who deserve appreciation are the Wilf family. Even though we don't have a super bowl trophy yet, the Wilfs have really put effort into putting this franchise in the best position to succeed. They have invested a lot of money into the team. I remember some of the flack they got when they first bought the team that they weren't "football guys." People just thought they were regular owners who bought a football team but wasn't fully invested. I think the Wilfs have shown for the past decade that they are all in and love this franchise. They got us both a state of the art practice facility and stadium. They did their due diligence when it came to Mike Zimmer. I think they played a part in getting the team to bring in Brent back in 2009. And they've also has their short comings of course. Brad Childress and Leslie Frazier. Not having a GM and dealing with the growing pains of Rick Spielman. But all in all, despite their inexperience, they have tried their best to put this team in a winning position. And this season, at least on paper looks like we finally have a consistent core and not another one and done team that we have been plagued with for years. But all props goes to the Wilfs for not giving up on the team. Even when they were denied time and time the building of a new stadium, they didn't give up like the last owner. Zigi is the man. And now with the acquisition of the soon to be, greatest QB of all time, Kirk Cousins, it's safe to say the Wilfs deserve the upmost appreciation.
