Like Danchat said, they certainly weren't interested in any of the FA QB's. Maybe it's just Bills way of planning to show up the league again by winning with what's leftover xD. Perhaps they might trade for someone after everything shakes out.

But there's no way in hell BB is going to tank though. Not his style. Like I said, he's more apt to take what's leftover and then shove the leagues face in it as he's hoisting another Lombardi. He doesn't strike me as the rebuild type of guy either. Why would he rebuild when he's been able to plug in any random player and keep on rolling the past 20 years?

I think they signed Hoyer again. This move is more Belichick, do not have too much money tied up into one position, unless the player is elite. Brady was no longer elite, so he was shown the door. Should give the Patriots the ability to upgrade the rest of their roster, with the extra $20 plus million helping.
Interesting to see how this works out.

14.8 PPG in 1986. The thing that really sticks out is the amount of home grown players. The big free agency change didn't happen until 1993. 10 of the starting defensive players on that roster were drafted by the Giants. Wow!

If the musical chairs keep moving with 3 decent QB's out there, he may well succeed.

The Cheatriots arent the greatest dynasty, but at any rate, it seems pretty directionless what they are doing right now. If they pulled a huge trade up in front of the Dolphins for Tua, I wouldn't be surprised.

Yeah, OK... they've only gone 16 of 17 seasons winning the division, going to 9 Super Bowls, winning 6, and never finishing with less than 10 wins in that stretch. I guess their mild cheating nullifes all that for you?

I would be very surprised if they made a trade like that. The cost to trade all the way up to what will likely be pick #3 or #4 will be astronomical, and I suspect either the Dolphins or Chargers will make a move to get him.

A 4th rounder taking over a dynasty? That's easy mode for BB. Once upon a time he had a 6th rounder take over a perennial loser and turned them into a dynasty xD.

In your mind 3 of their Super Bowls don't count. But they have the trophy's, so they do count. The Patriots will finish with a better record this year than the Buccaneers.
