This article is really about McKinnon's performance, yesterday, and really worth the read for that information alone, but this caught my eye:
At the end of the first half the Vikings were driving and hoping to score a touchdown. They thought they had a 7-yard touchdown run from McKinnon and it was initially awarded that way. But after review, McKinnon was ruled down just short of the end zone and, because of the review and stoppage of clock, 10 seconds were run off the clock, down to 13 seconds. The Vikings had the option to use their final timeout instead but opted to have the 10 seconds taken off the clock. After an incompletion, they decided to kick a third-down field goal with five seconds left on the clock.
