It's that time again. Let's see what some of the Packers' fans are saying about the upcoming match-up against our Vikes. Hopefully they have nice things to say about our previous match-up and ... Anthony Barr.

Some more salty fans:
How much purple will be there? Hopefully a lot!
Ahhh, you get the point! The Packers fans are blah ... and it feels so good! lol. Thoughts?

What they're saying...
Win or lose, I want the defense to allow 50+ points to increase the odds of Capers being fired.
I expect them to play to win, which may be impossible with Hundley anyway, but it would not disappoint me to see us win and hurt the Vikings' seeding and Super Bowl chances.
It would also not disappoint me to see us lose and look toward picking more toward the upper teens rather than the lower teens.
Either way I don't want our defense giving the organization any reason to think about retaining Capers these last two games.

Play for draft positioning. Start Callahan on Sunday and see what the kid can do to determine if they can move on from Hundley. And honestly, if the Patriots win another Super Bowl, I’m done with the NFL and just sticking to Saturday football next year. I’m so sick of that team winning ball games on lucky plays. Getting to the point of winning is skill, but this final is play crap is just annoying to watch. Hate their pretenscious fans. Hate Bob Kraft and his constant use of the only big word he knows (unequivocally). Hate Matt Patricia’s stupid beard and how he gets any sort of credit for having what is really a garbage defensive game plan every week. That secondary should be the best in the league.
They're now in the position they were in the Gory Years, and the fun then was individual games where they could hurt another team, so I'm hoping they beat the Vikes. Besides, isn't the draft position thing more a matter of not being at the end of the round every year? Next year, pretty much regardless of what they do in their next two games, they'll be in the middle - a few positions up or down shouldn't have that big an impact.
I'm conflicted - One hand I want the Packers to kick the sh** out of the Vikings and the Lions, on the other I want cluster-f*** losses of epic proportions where the organization is so embarrassed that they fire Thompson, Capers, and McCarthy before the flight back to Green Bay.
Play to win but play the young guys. Someone mentioned Jordy. I'm pretty sure we've all seen Jordy has lost at least a step and some explosion. Time to move on and not sure what two more games will show anyways. Put Clark in and see what the kid can do.
Earth to MM give the punter the day off, play 4 downs make the O earn their way to a win give your experiment Hudley a confidence boost or let Callahan be the new experiment, you got nothing to lose, but I think he will coach like the same cautious McCarthy we have seen since Seattle
Play Hundley in the first half and Callahan in the second half. Got to find out if either is worth keeping as a number 3 quarterback next year. We already know we need a better number 2.
Jordy is fine. He had his man beat on the Rodgers interception. Should have been a TD. Rodgers wasn't ready to come back, obviously. That was one of several underthrown balls.
Empty out the bench and see what you've got.

I'm glad that Aaron will sit out the rest of the year. He is too rusty, and the last thing we need is for him to aggravate his shoulder.
There has been talk here in MN about a revenge game. Part of me would love to see the Pack beat the snot out of the Queens. If you spend all of your life being nice, the bullies will walk all over you. And I speak from experience.

These games are the time to evaluate the younger players and as much as possible, protect those vets you plan on keeping. I'm expecting an easy win for the queens. We're out of it and we'll have players making "business" decisions.
Things that I want to see.
-Commit to the running game.
-Allow McCray to start in place of Evans
-The young kids play.
-NO Jordy or Davante
-More Biegel and M. Adams
-Hundley throw the ball downfield more often.
-When he does I'd like Michael Clark or Trevor Davis be the target.
-Somebody blindside and earhole Anthony Barr, but that is probably just me.

Honestly, Capers should send the guys out and NOT coach them - just let em go nuts - absolutely berzerk! We’ll sit back and watch Zimmer’s head explode on the other sideline.
With AR shut down I wonder if Mike will let Hundley go full read-option Saturday night and how will MN respond?
Well, heres something we can pull for.......I guess. I bet Hundley will own the record.
Rob Demovsky:
Brett Hundley has yet to throw a touchdown pass at home this season. According to Elias, he currently has the second-most passes (122) without a TD at home in a single season in NFL history. Only Bob Avellini of the Bears in 1978 has more (127).

Gotta imagine that this is going to be one of the ugliest games in the NFL this year. Minnesota is playing well, our defense is struggling and Hundley has took nothing short of terrible this year at home with 160 yards passing, no passing TDs and 4 INTs. Hopefully Hundley plays better in this game than he did in their last meeting when he couldn't stop throwing the ball to Vikings defenders.
I feel a Little Holiday Magic in the air for this game!
What a story it would be for the Packer second and third string to take down the purple and throw their post season plans into turmoil, making sure they don’t wind up with home field throughout the playoffs! GO PACKERS!

Oh. Yeah. We still have to play this...
Maybe if the Vikings hang 45 on us, it will leave is with no choice but to get rid of Dom.
These last 2 games I'm treating like preseason. No significant injuries, win/loss who cares, and perhaps get to see some younger guys get more reps these last 2 games.
I want the offense to kill it. But I want the defense to get killed, so Dom Capers isn't here next year.
Hard to get excited about a game w/o playoff significance.....Without Rodgers and Adams, I expect the offense to sputter....Score will likely be similar to the Ravens game (27-0)....
I would like to see Rodgers' first pass drilled very, very hard and at close range, directly into the body part that Barr grabbed as Rodgers left the field. That would make my (playoff-less) year.
Either way, 1265 has some heavy lifting to do this offseason. MIN isn't going away. In fact they'll probably be better next year with Cook at RB unless they get mired in the muck of a QB controversy if Bridgewater does anything. I appreciate the Viking bagging as much as anyone but it's hard not to notice where they are right now.
There won't be many viking fans there. The game time temp is projected to be near 0, and with 35 years playing in domes, they've become too soft to endure that cold.
They didn't seem to have a problem filling UM stadium while their product was much worse than it presently is. God damn! I hate giving them credit.
Perhaps some are too smart to sit in 0 temps, paying big money on a busy holiday weekend to watch a meaningless game.
With the Packers officially eliminated from the Playoffs, I suspects Ticket Exchange and Stubhub will be flooded with tickets.
This is a pathetic thread. Bunch of effin losers you all are. As much as I want change, and I do for the squad. Comments on here are weak. Support your effin team and don’t predict how many won’t show up. Viking Fans.
They flooded lambeau in 2009 when Favre was on his final failquest. Loud obnoxious vike fans yelling trash the whole game several rows behind us. What sucked more is none of the packer fans around them did a damn thing about it. Granted that was Farb's first return to GB to face the new QB so there may have been some "conflicted" fans.
Hundley almost beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Absolutely no reason why he can't beat the Vikes in Lambeau.
Saturday Night game and people drinking all day. Line up the paddy wagons.
I was really hoping the Packers would be in a position to treat this game as their Superb Owl (assuming teams do such things), and would beat the Vikes, spoiling their opportunity for a home playoff game.
Incidentally, if they finish at 12-4, the only team left with a h2h advantage is Carolina, and the Panthers would have to win out to make it 12-4. But that's totally possible.....
Aww hell, who am I kidding?
I hope we inflict as much punishment and damage to them as possible. Let's see how they do in the playoffs with Teddy B and without Barr for starters.

While I will never believe Mike McCarthy has taken employment action, e.g. fired or "retired", Dom Capers until I see it confirmed in writing by a trusted source, I think the Queens moving the ball at will behind their backup QB, at Lambeau, with 20,000(?) or more Queens' fans in attendance Saturday night may actually be the catalyst for someone in authority (whom I have no idea) to finally say enough is enough when it comes to Green Bay's terrible defense play.
I say on offense, go all out. Bombs, flea-flickers, jet sweeps. Send Janis! long every play. Who cares if you throw 10 pics. Nothing to lose. Entertain the fans at least. Defense, hit Keenum every play. No dirty stuff but rattle his cage. And a lot of “Capers Sucks” chants!
I hate Viking fans more than the Chicago Bears. If I was there, I'd find out where their tailgate was and pee in their cooler!
I really had my heart set on winning the Superb Owl in the land of 1000 morons. Was really down when Rodgers was hurt. That down was changed to anger when I saw once again how unprepared this Packer team really is. like it has been said, Rodgers covered up a lot of warts. Too bad when he got hurt last time the warning light didn't go on at 1265.
At least now the pressure is off. Last 2 games no worries. hoping to see a game like the Raiders and Chiefs played in the 60's. And if no changes are made after the final game, MM and TT need to be put into the circular file head first! Changes in not only staff, but how things are done.

How about returning the favor ARod got from Barr and giving it to Keenum? Not advocating violence, here. Oh wait, I am too! And how about no flags on that play and then all Packer fans, in unison, yelling it was a clean hit! Wouldn't that be a fitting gift for all Packer fans this Christmas? What's a five letter word beginning with "K"
Getting back to the point of this thread, if there are clearly more Viking fans in the stadium than Packer fans - that should be a sign that in GB the DC defense is not worth watching anymore.
