I'm giving it to Addison & Hockenson. The Bears sold out to stop JJ and both of them made Chicago pay.

The Binary Crowd will hate this, but the how of the win does matter in the bigger picture. Darnold was staring down his primary read and was slow to come off of it and get through his progressions all the way until OT.

When Minnesota goes on the road in the Playoffs and Sam can't come off his first read and get through his progressions it will be interesting to see if the many on here that only care about results and not how they are achieved react. The Vikings are the 3rd best Team in the NFC.

I will say it again. The Minnesota Vikings are the third best Team in the NFC. Who has a better set of weapons than Jefferson, Addison, Hockenson, Jones and an emerging Oliver? Sam had hours to throw yesterday and remains at or near the very bottom of the League in Time to Throw. The Offensive Line is doing their jobs in Pass Pro.

He's not likely to have that much time on the road in the Playoffs. Sam has got to speed up his reads. Period.

And Kevin must find a way to convert 3rd & 4th and Short Yardage. They've changed out the RBs and Guards multiple times and still can't execute. That's coaching. Part of it is on Kuper and part of it is on O'Connell. It's been that way for his entire tenure. That and the near league leading turnovers on Offense.

The How matters. The NFL is designed for high scoring games. There aren't more because Quarterback Play is at an all time low. But the Offense must be prepared to win the game when the Defense gets exposed.

And the Defense will get exposed. Flores can't play Man because he doesn't have the Corners to do it. There is zero interior pass rush. Zero. All Zones have holes and Teams that have to blitz non-stop because they can't generate interior pressure are going to have stretches of getting exposed.

I just don't see Kevin and Sam being the difference on the road against a lesser Team. Darnold can't be blamed for the inability to run for 1 yard. Or the decision to go for it and let the other Team back in the game. But he can get through his reads faster and potentially cover up those issues. He's certainly improved the last few weeks regarding putting the ball in harm's way via passing and taking bad sacks.

If Darnold can get just a tick faster that will make a huge difference. I'm hopeful that getting more and more comfortable in KOC's Offense and the return of TJ can make that happen.
