We all realize if the Vikings win or lose by less than 7 points it's a normal NFL game.
I get so tired of the GameDay thread of every single play being the determining factor of a win or loss.
I hate to say this, but wish more posters would be educated on how the NFL is. It's a game of slim margins on every play
I've posted tons of data that shows the Vikings are far from normal. You make it sound like every game comes down to one score. You spend more time criticizing other fans, than those fans do criticizing the Vikings. I've never seen you post any data for your claims.
As you'll see here, only about half the games come down to one score, and that doesn't factor in how many teams score meaningless points at the buzzer to make a game look like one score. And over a quarter of the games are by 17+. And a fifth by 3 TD's. The Vikings are well below all those categories. That's not just "any given Sunday", that's a pattern. The Vikings do in fact lack a killer instinct, and somehow the offensive guru is even worse.
Since 2011:
OTHER 31 TEAMS VIKINGS OFFENSIVE GURU
total wins 3395 118 26
one score W 1760 51.8% 66 55.9% 21 80.8%
double digit 1583 46.6% 49 41.5% 5 19.2%
by 17+ 881 25.9% 24 20.3% 2 7.7%
by 20+ 664 19.6% 13 11.0% 2 7.7%
Let me know if those numbers match your feelings. They match mine.
