Darnold and KOC are gonna tear Saleh’s bend don’t break defense to shreds
We could not beat Bo nix at home. We have not beat a good team yet. We have looked good for only 6 quarters this entire season.
We're going to get absolutely throttled by the guy who I thought was going to bring glory to this franchise.
So yeah average game.

Sauce can't cover Jefferson.
Starting to wonder what would happen if I just threw my old Darnold jersey in a bucket of purple fabric dye.
Jets drop this one we are in trouble.
Honestly, I felt that we were in trouble during Saleh's first season with the Jets.
You are all concerned. Do you think the league is not going to want one of their stars not in the playoffs? As long as AROD is upright and can be propped up behind center, The Jets will be in the playoffs. Lets see where they are after week 17. They will be the division winner or 6th or 7th seed. He puts butts in the seats and eyeballs on the TV. Love him or hate him.

We’re going to lose. They destroyed the 49ers, the 49ers destroyed us. I understand matchups and everything but nothing the Jets have shown me so far this season makes me feel confident.
You know Sam Darnold is looking to slap the sh*t out of the Jets.
Can we work the screen game this week, try and take advantage of the Flores blitzes?
Think I might wear my old Darnold jersey to the game. That way I can't lose.
Before the season there was talk about sauce doing some traveling with receivers. Now is the time. Lock him onto Jefferson and let's see what happens
I know it's a new week and over seas. But if we look anything like the team that played Sunday. We can't beat very many teams.
MIN is a well coached team that's playing great right now. I think they just have too many things that can beat us like SF.
MIN: 20
NYJ: 13

My fellow Jets fans, I've got good news or bad news, I guess it's all about perspective but this upcoming game and the absolute ass whipping the Vikings are about to put on the NY Jets will be the final nail in this regime's coffin.
The optics are going to be awful. JD made the horrible decision to get rid of Sam Darnold for a lesser prospect w/ all the same flaws but much much worse than Sam Darnold. If the MVP was given out after the first quarter of the season, it goes to Sam. Meanwhile, Justin Fields is balling out of control and more than likely going to lead the Steelers to the Super Bowl to play the Sam Darnold led Vikings.
JD's decision not to get a kings ransom to build around Sam Darnold, was an obviously bad decision in the moment and that decision was made even worse when he decided to draft Zach Wilson for literally, no good reason. He was an awful prospect that was obviously going to bust. Then the decision to draft Wilson over Fields after trading Sam Darnold and JD is looking like an absolute moron. He's about to get his pants pulled down to his ankles because his hand selected HC sucks and is about get completely embarrassed again in back to back weeks w/ QB's who they discarded for a 40 year old hallucinogenic addict.

I was worried about this game before the Denver disaster. If they play anything like they did last week they'll get blown out. Maybe just wishful thinking but I think they show up and look like a better team this week. Doesn't mean they'll win.
The 2.5 spread is interesting given the way the Jets showed last week, against the Niners and the fact that the Vikes are undefeated. Aaron Rodgers factor maybe? Vegas is trying to get equal action and the public sentiment has to be way down on the Jets facing an undefeated team that has played very well.

Vikings 42, Jets 6
It's not a matter of who wins. The Vikings have this thing already. It's just a matter of how much they beat us by and how foolish Sam Darnold makes our front office look.
Jets gonna get scorched in this one. The collapse begins as does the dissention. Rodgers is gonna slowly muscle Saleh out.
Vikings 31
Jets 17
Our defense will get smoked by Darnold. He is the MVP of the league right now and I expect that to continue next week.

Weird feeling they win this one. I have no statistical backing to feel like this, but I think they do. Vikings aren't going to go 16-1 or 15-2 and they just had an emotional win over GB. Outside of that, I got nothing.
Low expectations is what the Jets have going for them. That and Aaron Rodgers.
Less worried about Darnold and that offense. Way more worried about the defense wrecking our piece of sh*t offensive line.
Flores coaches a really aggressive attacking style of defense and they lead the league in sacks and interceptions.

Flores should be looked closely at this offseason as a replacement for Saleh. He can coach and got a raw deal in Miami. People want accountability, he's almost extreme in that regard in terms of modern standards.
No, absolutely not!
Jets - 3
Vikings - 31
Flores' defense is going to obliterate this offense...

I mean....it would almost be another completely fitting moment in Jets Failure lore that, following one of the most crushing mental loses i can remember, we see MVP candidate Sam freaking Darnold completely dice us up while all but putting the nail in the hyped up 2024 expectation coffin.
We have Rodgers and Saleh not on the same page. Now Garrett Wilson is talking about the offense needing to change. Things are starting to unravel quickly.

New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England
Time, Day: 8:30 a.m., ET, Sunday
Last week: New York Jets lost to Denver Broncos, 10-9; Minnesota Vikings def. Green Bay Packers, 31-29.
Coaches: Jets — Robert Saleh (fourth year, 20-35 with Jets, 20-35 career); Vikings — Kevin O’Connell (third year, 24-14 with Vikings, 24-14 career).
Fun fact: O’Connell played quarterback at San Diego State and played in the NFL for five different teams — including the Jets. He never played a regular-season snap for New York.
All-Times Series: Jets lead series, 8-4.
Last meeting: Vikings def. Jets, 27-22 (2022)
Series notes: The Vikings have won the last three meetings. Before that, the Jets won eight of the first nine meetings dating back to 1970.
About the Jets: The locals are not happy after the Jets’ loss to the Broncos. Spend a few minutes on social media and you’ll see.
There also appears to be some controversy around who coach Robert Saleh and quarterback Aaron Rodgers handled questions about pre-snap penalties after the game. Saleh seemed to indicate that they might re-examine that in the wake of the loss. The next day, he said the pre-snap cadences weren’t changing.
Rodgers had answered that players “needed to be held accountable” in the wake of those pre-snap penalties. So take that for what it’s worth.
While most projected the Jets to make the playoffs, the margins are likely to be small. Plus, the Broncos loss cost the Jets a chance to earn a tie with Buffalo in the AFC East, which lost on Sunday night.
About the Vikings: Darnold’s resurrection with the Vikings is incredible. He’s completing 68.9% of his passes and before that his best completion percentage for a full season was 61.9% with the Jets in 2019. And to think Minnesota thought its season might be over after McCarthy was hurt.
O’Connell’s system seems to fit the former USC Trojan perfectly. But another import, running back Aaron Jones, is averaging 5.0 yards per carry after a long, but injury-marred career, with the Green Bay Packers. He’s also the Vikings’ second-leading receiver with catches, behind only All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
Linebackers Pat Jones II and Jonathan Greenard have nine sacks, respectively, and they’ll be the defenders that the Jets’ offensive line will have to account for on Sunday.
Next Up: The Jets host Buffalo on Oct. 14. The Vikings face Detroit on Oct. 20.

Jets don’t do well traveling cross country. Can’t imagine they’ll do well traveling over seas.
Jets don’t do well in nationally televised games. So expect ugly.

Jets need to start fast. Make Darnold play from behind. D needs to blitz a little bit too. Our line is the weakest link, on both sides of the ball and the Vikings blitz the most of any team in the league. Rodgers got beat up last week, his knee is injured, gotta find a way to keep him upright and just keep the chains moving.
I hope the Jets have more confidence in themselves than the fanbase is showing.
Thoughts on their thoughts?!?!
