I'll ask for the 3rd time...where the f' was Dallas Turner???
I thought he was the second coming of Micah Parsons and he's nowhere to be seen on the field when Love was dropping back on every play..
Good question, he didn't record anything on the stat sheet so it's possible they kept him on the bench most of the game. Too early to be concerned.
Vikings got lucky due to our kicker.
Sure, but about about all of the drops / blown coverages / stupid throws from Love / abandoning in the "#1 run game in the NFL" / great offensive line I was told about by Packers fans?
That INT looked bad (though that was a very athletic move by the Packers Defender) was just as good as punt basically and it did lead to the Packers punting in the end.
That's not how that works! The Vikings had the ball at the Packers 20 and were in field goal range, so the int threw away points. An "arm punt" is more acceptable on a 3rd and long and usually going at least 30-40 yards downfield. And the fact that the Packers ended up punting had nothing to do with Darnold. He's lucky the defense supporting him was balling out for the first 3 quarters or the game.
So nice to be on the other side of these moral victories.
Amen to that! We don't want to repeat the 2022 with so many close victories, but it's not like good teams don't have close wins like this one. Lest we forget we already pitched 2 blowouts in the first 3 weeks after going 5 years without a blowout. Sheesh!
