For the latter to be true, he would have to be a complete moron for drafting all that insignificant trash ahead of him and taking a chance there was a smarter GM who would've scooped Pace up in the 7th round, like Spielman would've.Absolutely take a flyer on studly UDFA's, that's why they're there, but if any of them pan out and become starters, lets not pretend any of the GM's knew that would be the case. Hence why I said GM's shouldn't be given credit for finding UDFA gems. They're a crap shoot, nothing more. KAM got lucky. I'd rather have a GM that hits on his early round picks than one that hits on UDFA's. Super Bowl rosters are loaded with UDFA's. That's why GM's should be blamed for whiffing on early round picks. Those are the ones you're supposed to get right.
