Jordan Addison Arrested for DUI

Based on what has been said in here, due process will be a misdemeanor of suspicion of driving under the influence. We'd know the test results by now, which means it wasn't done. I'm a bit surprised personally, because I would think that stopping your vehicle in the middle of a freeway by LAX and falling asleep would be more than enough evidence to warrant a test, but I'm not a lawyer and that's apparently not true. That means this is ALL he's going to get. Due process isn't going to tell us anything more. He'll plead out to that charge and that will be that.

After 140 in a 55 not even one year ago, I'm not as inclined to be as forgiving. This kid is dangerous behind the wheel, and behavior such as this speaks to much bigger problems in terms of how he thinks of himself and others.

We already lost a player this year due to a drunk driving accident as I understand it. Jackson was just a passenger caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Addison was reckless. Again. I don't think he should lose his job because of this, just I wouldn't lose my job if I were the one doing these things, but the team is also investing millions into this kid. They aren't going to see the return on that investment if his next incident takes his life or someone else's. It is as simple as that. This is a risk decision from a business standpoint. It's already a lost season. They may as well try and send the kid a message.
