Many of us agreed on draft day. Fast forward until now and many are questioning this. I was fine with the idea that KAM knew what he was doing and JJM and Turner were about to wow us. Well, we are miles away from "wow" at this point and I'm not sure we can even get there from here. I sure hope I'm wrong.

A lot of teams have "extra" cap space in 2025, and it will certainly be a limited pool of overpriced, castoff candidates. That rarely serves as a key ingredient for a Lombardi.

yes cast offs like Greenard Van Ginkle and Cashman. Who wants bums like that?

And I don't really care what you thought on draft day or today. I understand the thinking behind both trades and the overall results from those trades won't be determined based on the results of 2024 alone

Only now with a guy who didn’t invest in him. So if that happens and next year a slow burn start then other factors do creep in.

or what if he's a talented young player who will work regardless?

who's saying we have to "build" a team through free agency? We do have actual draft picks in 2025 and the ability to get more

We have 3 draft picks in 2025 (1 1st and 2 5th rounders) while every other team has 6 or more picks. We are a long way from building a team for the future especially when every other team will by de facto get better next season with more rookie contracts and dividends from it after

That’s what we hoping. Until we know for sure about BFlo and who is the next guy it’s all assumptions.

Both ways him being great or sorry is an assumption as well as that’s TBD. That’s what we do around here is discuss and see.

One thing is not an assumption. That is right now he’s not making much of an impact. Does it mean forever no but as of now I’m still waiting.

Again I understand getting who you like and believe in so obviously 2024 grades are not in yet. Not even in pencil really. Regardless of the intent though the results are the results.

I will say this no matter how it happens Turner turn out or not winning is what will keep folks around. No matter how unorthodox the journey is. The destination is our ultimate aim. We discuss the journey but 8-2 does stand taller than hits and misses. So that 8-2 is on the positive column. Which is getting new deals coming up for all of them. They earned that.

When you only get 1-2 contributors (not even starters) out of each of the last 3 drafts it's pretty safe to say you're not building through the draft....

We getting a 3rd. I’m not sure but a 7 maybe too. I guess some kind of deal with the Jesse Davis trade.

I’m not ready for the offseason lol. They got to 8 wins. We past last year headed for 10 plus. 2 more wins should get us in.

I think they deserve our attention and I will keep the off-season on standby until then. We one win from a winning record. That’s pretty cool when we say 8-2 like that. We not 8-2 to often.
