Something to think about for the 'wait until next year' crowd.
I'm also starting to really wonder if the Giants are even a threat at all to take him. They did some Free Agency work on their infamously bad O-Line but they are by no means done. Their Roster is littered with WR2 types with no true WR1. The Defense has holes.
I've thought the Giants were not taking a qb for a while now. Daboll in year 3 starting over with a rookie is not the same as KOC doing it in a framework where it appears ownership mandated running back the vets in year one, and they never fire guys anyway unless the person in question does something really egregious. Daboll is playing for an ownership that runs a hc/gm revolving door of failure.
They'd be smart to take Nabors if he is available, he looks like the real deal to me. They need a weapon after Barkley left and Daboll needs something to help him keep his job in the long run which I don't think a rookie qb will do. The X factor is, does the awfulness of Daniel Jones push them into a qb anyway? It's not a good organization and I hate trying to predict what they'll do. Even the semi-conscious psychology of "Jones was taken at 6, now we're drafting at 6 again" could affect what they decide.
