IMO London is really good but has been stuck with bad QB play and zero support at WR so he is always the focus to cover in the passing game. The advanced stats say he gets more separation than the yards imply I foresee a spike in targets that will easily get him over the 1000 yard mark.

Pitts is overrated but hasn't looked like the same guy he was in his rookie year. But he is a decent receiver and will post better numbers, just not the superstar numbers the hype crowd on Twitter keeps saying is coming.

Robinson didn't get over 1000 yards because Arthur Smith was too busy getting Allgeier and Patterson the ball. I was disappointed by Robinson's play though, he did not look like a superstar RB.

They badly need a WR2 because they had a bunch of guys playing at a practice squad level next to London. A big reason why our defense held in the Falcons game last year was because London was out. They have to find somebody better than Mack Hollins, KhaDarel Hodge, or cooked Van Jefferson.

Exactly, that's one constant I'm seeing - the deal is so ridiculous, nobody is claiming we should have matched that.

It's the most logical deduction that can be made. Kwesi set this in motion last year by rejecting Kirk's offer of 75 for two fully guaranteed years. He was hoping to land Richardson to sit behind Cousins for a year.

A year later he let Kirk hit FA and that deal Kwesi rejected looks like a freaking steal if he had said yes. The FO wanted to move on. Period.

Drake Maye has been described as a Matt Stafford-type of Player. The initial comp was Justin Herbert. But the reason I was so dang wrong about Herbert hitting as a Pro was how conservative he was in Oregon.

The biggest knock on Maye is being reckless with the ball. Too much gunslinging because he's so confident in his huge arm.

The kid is the closest to what Kevin wants. And he may fall slightly as Teams put out smoke trying to make him fall into their range to go and get him.

I'm somewhat skeptical that we are going to move up for Maye, or that it's even possible that Washington or New England would do that deal with us. But what I do like about him is his size and frankly, the fact he didn't have the best oline or receivers means he already has a lot of ability to cope with pressure, something some of these kids just can't do when they get to the big show.

I watched a lot of Falcon football last year. Their team is not that bad and they were in most of their games, but the combo of Ridder and Heineke sunk them. A competent qb can get them 10 wins in that weak division and Arthur Blank knows it, that's why he made the move. He's 82 this fall and ain't gonna live forever. At least Kirko can get him to the playoffs.

That's a bit harsh. I've always respected Kirk the man (faith, family, community). I've also respected Kirk the QB (hard worker, great teammate, leader). The fact that he is taking market value in a big kid's game (where there is seemingly unlimited money and non-existent "loyalty") doesn't change my opinion of Kirk at all. I used to take Viking football much more seriously. Then, you age, you drink, you learn and at the end of the day none of this stuff means much more than a distraction from life. Best wishes Kirk! I thought Minshew would be a decent option but he's already off the market. I'd be ok with Brisset. I'd honestly rather take a chance on a fossil like Joe Flacco than waste time with Darnold. Even Justin Fields would be more appealing, as bad as he is.

The good news is, assuming we take a qbotf, that guy will probably be on the field by mid-season and whoever the "bridge" is will be benchwarming.
