Teddy has to be named the starter after the bye!

i think the defense creates much of the opportunity for the luck to happen. it would be great to see them dominate the post season...assuming they get there. i just don't see them as that type of defense...yet.

for me, the only unknown that can be resolved is whether or not bridgewater is worth a roster spot  next season. will they seek that out this season? keep 'rolling' with case? my hopes is that they push they issue this season because anything less would be  mismanagement of the qb position going forward. unless someone in authority believes case can be the guy...which i seriously doubt. not after the last 15 years(?) of qb managment ineptitude on display.

the signing of bradford in the first place was  signal to me that they are finished pussyfooting around at qb....i'm thinking they've sorted out the same issue at o-line. for the first time in a long time the team looks to be managed at an appropriate level.

the qb issue here is a challenge....

i think there is an inflated sense of urgency due to the performance of the defense...but i believe that the defense will be formidable for as long as zimmer is here. the world could end next week...but the vikes wil have a stout defense because they are drafting well in that department...thanks to zimmer! 

Not me, I've always been so-so on Teddy.  I thought he was a solid pick when it was made, was disappointed with his early showings, but needed to see his 3rd year to really know what we were looking at.  

I understand the last point...but that "known" is going to be losing us games really quickly.  Possibly several right out of the bye.  Pretty soon 6-2 could be 6-5 and then you're putting a rusty Teddy or Sam in with the team in desperation.

If Teddy is physically capable...I play him against Washington.  Worst case scenario he looks like Self-Sack Sam and you put in Keenum anyway.  Best case scenario - Teddy looks ready and can build a solid performance in his return.  There is much more upside in that move than your scenario.

So wait a second... Keenum doesn't take sacks, doesn't turn the ball over, yet he isn't good enough to some. Weird.

If we're destined to lose 3 games right after the bye then we're going to lose them regardless of who's the QB. Can't make a QB change on a hunch.

And why exactly would we use Keenum's stats from previous years, with different teams, to talk about his current year on our current team lol? I'm using stats from Teddy's most recent year too.

One of us may or may not have access to such information.

Not sure why we're highly likely to lose with Keenum, and the odds of winning are any better with Teddy, given the circumstances of him not playing a single snap of football in 16 months.

It's the equivalent of assuming Trevor May can come back from TJS and pitch 180 innings next season. Meanwhile he's replacing Mejia because upside.
