1. Kirk won’t sign anywhere for $30 million a season. He has stated I’m his contract is about respect. Everything indicates it will be at least $40 million a year or more. The most important thing for him will be the guaranteed money. Probably cheapest you would see is 2 years $80 million fully guaranteed. Remember Daniel Jones got $40 million per year last year and these QBs always use the last guys as a parameter. And he supposedly according to the buzz at SB this past week is getting a lot of buzz several teams want to talk to him.
2. Why bring Kirk back? What’s the point? Is it to compete for a playoff spot? If so who gives a sh!t about that? I’m serious about wanting a sb championship. Kirk isn’t bringing that. Been here 6 years with one playoff win. The current roster is far away from a sb. He will be 36 when season starts coming off major injury. Let him go “compete “ somewhere else. Let us start looking towards the future with much cheaper options at qb. For example minsjew on a $10 million a year deal for 2 years and a rookie first round qb. Use the money to help in other areas.

You are very likely correct that Kirk won't sign for 30 Million a season. Assuming that is correct my choice is to let him walk. As for what Daniel Jones got that has proven the Giants to be IDIOTS. Kirk is turning 36 and coming off a serious injury. He might come back as good as ever, but he might not. I'm not willing to risk that for anything more than $30Million a year.
