Aside from the Vikes, there are 6 teams on that list that should be looking at QB's as part of their offseason plans, probably more.

Phrasing it that way shows the importance of this week. Chicago won’t take a QB with their second pick so they’re moot to some degree. But without knowing how FA/trades will work out in March, the Vikings would sure like to leap Atlanta and Las Vegas in the order this weekend.

I would think LAC, TN, and NYJ all don’t think about taking a QB. (NYJ could but I believe they’ll try to utilize that pick to push them over the top for Aaron’s last year)

I'm going to assume that the non-diehard NFL fans don't understand how much QB contracts affect the salary cap, so it tracks that re-signing him is a no-brainer if you're not considering how much he will cost. Maybe that's a false assumption, but I find it hard to have a worthwhile debate on the subject if we aren't bringing up how much it's going to cost to retain him.

Yes this is what the conclusion I came to. Those who aren't in it everyday on the Vikings feel Kirk is a really good QB and they would be dumb not to resign him. Just like the national media
