I believe 'PPE" was a term in reference to the defense? Much like "Doomsday" in Dallas. 'Orange crush' in Denver and 'Steel Curtain' in Pittsburg. What does it have to do with anything?Dec 3, 2023 14:54:37 GMT -6 @gruff said:
Incidentally, your Stats are severely skewed, in your favor. lol, nice try. Dec 3, 2023 14:54:37 GMT -6 @gruff said:
LOL you don't get to Pad an extra 100 games onto the Metrodome stats. Has to be an equal sample size on your numbers. Should file an official protest with the PP site officials for Un sportsman like conduct lol.Dec 3, 2023 14:54:37 GMT -6 @gruff said:
You're not accounting for the intangibles, Sir.Dec 3, 2023 14:54:37 GMT -6 @gruff said:
The Vikings were Constructed for that environment, to succeed in those adverse weather conditions. Beating the Bears in the 1st NFL game that they ever played was a sign of things to come. Not all players are successful in inclement weather, just ask Blair Walsh. Dec 3, 2023 14:54:37 GMT -6 @gruff said:
Noise trumps Adverse weather conditions? such as wind, cold, rain, sleet, snow, a playing surface thats less than ideal?Dec 3, 2023 14:54:37 GMT -6 @gruff said:
So, i'm gonna say if the NFL had the balls to host a SB at a cold weather venue such as GB, Chicago, or even New York? The Vikings probably would have been a Super Bowl Champion.Dec 3, 2023 14:54:37 GMT -6 @gruff said:
Let's get back to noise really quick. The Vikings have been Playing in ideal climate conditions and an Ideal playing surface since 1982 and have done nothing with it.Dec 3, 2023 14:54:37 GMT -6 @gruff said:
Face the Facts, When the Vikings moved indoors they went from the PPE's to PP's (Purple Pansy's)Are you a good football team if you need the weather to win games for you anyway? I think they should move all NBA games outdoors too and then we'll find out who the real best basketball team is xD. Yeah lets see how good Labron is when there's a 25 MPH wind and it's 13 degrees. Oh wait, nobody ever makes that argument lol. Football was only "meant to be played outdoors" because it wasn't feasible to build indoor arenas that large back in the 1920's. I don't want the climate deciding football games anymore than I want to see who is better at making 20 foot jumpers in a swirling wind. I want the best football players to decide who wins. The frozen tundra hasn't done much for the Bears all these years. The Packers either. Their success has been entirely about their HoF QB's, who play like crap when it gets cold. I bet they would've won 5 or 6 more Super Bowls had they played indoors.
