PPE = Purple People Eaters ... and what did they have to do with anything? Probably everything. It's why I included a section with/without the PPE's when playing outdoors in conditions that were supposed to give us some sort of advantage. .793 at the Met with the PPE's, but just .363 without. That tells me the PPE's had more to do with it than the environment.

Well I see the problem then. Maybe if we were constructed to win football games, maybe we would've won a few Super Bowls? I mean did we not know they played Super Bowls in warmer cities and sometimes some championship games? Yeah too bad we didn't know those things. And when we constructed those cold weather teams, did we only draft/sign players from Minnesota, Canada, and Siberia? Perhaps we should've signed a few more eskimos.

Forgive me, but I never played football past 3rd grade, but doesn't the adverse weather conditions affect both teams for the entire game, not just the road team? Noise on the other hand only affects the road team, unless ofc you're KOC and trying to run a hurry up offense with Kirk Cousins.

Well again, had the Vikings been smart enough to realize 99% of Super Bowls are played indoors or in warm weather cities, this wouldn't have been a problem. Besides, they had a golden opportunity to play a Super Bowl in their own building but decided to lose to Nick Foles instead. I mean it's not like we were getting bounced from the playoffs all those years by Joe Montana, we lost in '87 to Doug Williams, in '98 to Chris Chandler, '00 to Kerry Collins, '09 to Drew Brees, and in '17 to Nick Foles. You shouldn't exactly need the PPE's to beat guys like that.

As opposed to all the trophies they stacked while playing on the frozen tundra?

Probably, but again, did the frozen tundra make the PPE's, or were the PPE's going to succeed in any environment? We haven't had a defense quite like that since moving indoors, or a franchise QB quite like Fran Chokenton so we don't know. Favre came close, but the league decided to play that game without rules and forgot to tell the Vikings. The point being, had we ever found a franchise QB or built a HoF defense, we might be singing a different tune about playing indoors.

Are you a good football team if you need the weather to win games for you anyway? I think they should move all NBA games outdoors too and then we'll find out who the real best basketball team is xD. Yeah lets see how good Labron is when there's a 25 MPH wind and it's 13 degrees. Oh wait, nobody ever makes that argument lol. Football was only "meant to be played outdoors" because it wasn't feasible to build indoor arenas that large back in the 1920's. I don't want the climate deciding football games anymore than I want to see who is better at making 20 foot jumpers in a swirling wind. I want the best football players to decide who wins. The frozen tundra hasn't done much for the Bears all these years. The Packers either. Their success has been entirely about their HoF QB's, who play like crap when it gets cold. I bet they would've won 5 or 6 more Super Bowls had they played indoors.
