Everyone doom and gloom and im just sitting here with a big smile on my face...No I do not wish injury on anyone it has nothing to do with JJ injury...I was just reading all the comments here. Put our record aside, you think this team is/looks worse than the last few years? I get it at this point the fumbles and turnovers is kind of who you are but this season has just been crazy. Its no excuse, I pinned us frauds last year, I dont think we are legit this year but I do think this team is actually better and especially with Flores defense has held its own best it could. At the end of the day this team lost to Herbert, Mahomes, and Hurts in games they all could have/should have won. It means nothing because you didnt but thats just football sometimes. Theres many ways to build a football team or have a good football team, but if you have a game changer at QB it helps tremendously and it takes a lot of luck out of the equation. We arent built like the Niners or Philly, and I hate to break it to Kwesi haters that is something that has started far before he has gotten here. There's no denying the 2022 draft class, but ill let this thing play out before I judge. You have to remember this team is being turned over, I know some are scared or dont like the route I guess like 8 wins or something im not sure what your worried about.

This season was a win win for me. I knew we would either compete, or it would be the end of not only Kirk era but really a Vikings era that has been stuck for about 5-6 years. I dont think we are a terrible team, heck I wouldnt be surprised if we rallied to a 7 win season like in typical viking fashion. Again no denying the 2022 draft class, but the guy was just hired in March that year I believe? Draft in April. Im not going to bring out the pitch fork for that. The best move Kwesi will make is cutting ties with Kirk, and drafting a new QB picked by Kevin. They will be judged and most likely extended or fired based on how that plays out. Its an exciting time for me honestly.

Look, I know it's me, but trust me when I say I'm not trying to be a dick... you've gotta be kidding me man, what team have you been watching? Does this team look worse than last few years? Yeah dude. It looks like dogshit. We have so few impact players. People's standards have gone way down in 10 years... we used to have Hall of Famers on the Vikings. The Vikings have not had a HOF caliber player in a very long time... yes this team looks worse. Zimmer had better teams. It hurts to admit that. Zimmer was better than O'Connell, Spielman was better than KAM. I don't think there's a lot to be excited about outside of moving on from Kirk Cousins... if they even have the balls to do it.

And what if we look more balanced instead and win 3 of 4? It would be more evidence we don't need to pay a WR $35m/y. We're going to pay him either way, but for a franchise that had a clue, this would be the ultimate deciding factor.

All of these positions are likely either gone or will be hard to sign for next year so we might as well get what we can for them so we can reload for next year hopefully with a new GM.

You've lost your mind with the JJ and TJ bit. They're supposed to be part of the Big 3, ya know, to help develop the new QBOTF.

TJ is overrated and overpaid. Fans are always optimistic that the next QB will be better than the last one but the Vikings track record doesn’t support that idea with any certainty. So is JJ going to be happy if we bomb out on the QB position and his HOF trajectory suddenly plummets? Will he even sign another contract with the Vikings if they continue to go the wrong direction?

After 2009 I said we should trade AP, JA , Percy and Kevin Williams for as many picks as we could get. If you look at the trajectory of the team in the next few years it clearly would have been the best move we could have taken.,

If we traded everyone I listed and got the draft capital to take Williams and Harrison Jr plus a blue chip DL I’m pretty sure fans would be OK with the changes

Yeah and it was his job to fix it, not maintain the status quo. This team is no closer to a championship than it was 2, 3, or 4 years ago. Zero progress made, and zero progress on the horizon unless this finally forces them into a fire sale. If it doesn't, ZERO progress going into next year. Losing Kirk and Hunter for nothing, in a year like this, is beyond inexcusable, and he can't be fired enough times for blowing an opportunity to get something for them.
