Tongo and Roy have barely played.

A couple of things jump out. Patrick Jones has been awful, but Lowry makes his stats look elite in comparison. Wonnum continues to underwhelm and while Bullard has been impactful at times against the run, he might as well not be out there when the Vikings rush the passer. Both Lowry and Bullard have fewer snaps than Jones, the Vikings 4th edge rusher the past two games, which tells you a lot about how little the coaching staff feels about those two.

Things are looking very bleak, but the defensive line cure-all is just around the corner and I expect much better numbers this time next week.

Danielle Hunter now leads the league among all defensive linemen in stops (tackles on unsuccessful rushing plays) and sacks. That is playing on a defense that consistently allows the QB to get rid of the ball quickly and effectively and with almost no help from the rest of the Dline.

Tell me how we don't get a 1st for this guy if we trade him today?

I was becoming a bit disenchanted with Lowry as well …and now he’s begun to kick ass. These last weeks have been impressive. We’ll see if he can keep it going

It was an amazing game by Vikings but it was also one of the worst pass rushing performances by a defensive line I have seen in a long time.

Here are the pressure/hits on QB/sacks stats for the D-Line:

Hunter 1/0/0
Wonnum 1/0/0

That is all.

No pass rush, multiple fumbles lost, a safety and we still win the game with our 4th string QB. Incredible.

Holy cow, only 7 pressures in the whole game! 0 from the DL, 2 from the edge, 3 from the ILBs, and 1 from the secondary. That's not gonna fly against most offenses.
