Week 2 - Vikings @ Eagles Support Group

I'm pleasantly surprised how well the back-7 of our defense is playing. It's almost shocking.

We should be 1-1 and if we can scrape it to say 3 - 5, I think a healthy-version of this team can finish with 6 or 7 wins in the 2nd half to squeek into a wild card. The team still doesn't have the athletic beef up-front to win anything in the playoffs but they are entertaining. 

If you focus on the positives, there are a lot of them. The pendelum should swing back in our favor and I think we will go on a strong run starting against LAC - we will win easily at home.

Hunter has 4 sacks and will walk for a 2025 com pick ya smh. Thanks a lot Kwesi. I don’t care bout wall street this football not Harvard or Princeton or wherever he went. Get a clue slow mo!

The heck, Flores? One DL versus 12 personnel?!

I'm baffled by all the yahoos who think we were even close to winning that game last night. B-b-but if this play doesn't happen, a-a-and if reasons, then we probably win. Did I watch a different game? It was 27-7 when it mattered half way through the 3rd, and then garbage time closed the gap. The Eagles were already missing 6 starters and weren't going to risk anymore in a blowout so they backed off.

We have ZERO run game, an offensive guru who doesn't seem to know what he's doing, and the Eagles rushed for a bazillion yards at will. What exactly did we do that leads anyone to believe we even belong in the same league as the Eagles? Hurst seemed to have a quiet night, but even he put up some pretty good numbers the few times he had to throw. Oh did we have some turnovers? Yeah those happen. The defense is allowed to take it away from you. And you know what? We're allowed to take it back, but we have 1 whole takeaway on the year.

B-b-but Kirk put up MVP numbers. Yeah Mr. MVP went 3-n-out on our final 2 drives last week when we only needed a FG, and in this game he came out of halftime only down 13-6 and immediately coughed up the ball because he apparently forgot that his OL isn't good enough to give him the 3 seconds he needs to just stand around scanning the field. That made it 20-7. What does the MVP do on the next drive, 2 passes to Mattison for negative yards, and then an incomplete pass on 3rd down that was short of the sticks anyway. Then we were down 27-7 and the Eagles called off the dogs. The MVP is responsible for 4 of our 7 turnovers.

MVP's find ways to win games, not cough up the ball, that's what makes them valuable.

How do you know? It could have been fantasy or you know this stupid gambling they allow. Allow gambling knowing damn well that will test the integrity of the sport. I am one of the last of the Mohicans. The wack taking over like being real not cool no more. Catch drank one deep except the family. People lack common sense these days it’s clear gambling will open a can of worms soon enough. Could it been that and not a Viking fan? Not sure but whoever it is needs a beat down in the highest order. Sorry to say that but it’s true. A Alabama riverboat one. Let me get my hands in it and my curb stomp kick lol.
