I think she did drop charges so he will likely not be in court long. The thing with the grand theft is they probably would have asked her if she wanted him charged and she said no. So they wouldn't bother trying. Domestic is a different case though. They can charge whether she wants or not. He thinks the scratch is nothing because he's looking at it in the sense of its just a scratch. To them it's evidence of him denying her of property by force or threat of force.  Which in many states is covered under domestic violence. I got a laugh at a report I read about they ran him though FBI and found he had a previous family violence charge. Yeah... like they didn't know before.
