It's possible we look for more RB depth if this what it looks like beyond Chandler on the depth chart...I know Kene isn't in there, either....
What I like about Pace is he seems to be a "leader" out there; getting the calls, pointing out what the offense is doing, and getting people in the right spots. You can see why he was an All-American with his attitude out there...
1st half "positives":
- Chandler looking solid in all facets of the RB position (running, catching, blocking)
- Mullens looking like a capable backup (happy feet and skittish, but more competent than Mannion/Mond)
- WR depth is really good
- Good run-D from the 2nd/3rd team DL
- Luigi V. making some plays off the edge; Patrick Jones also played well in very limited 1st qtr action
- Pace looked very solid, especially for a rookie UDFA
- Gunner coverage by NaJee Thompson
1st half "negatives":
- 2nd Team OL; yikes...and put RG1 Ingram in there, too...might need to call Risner's agent back up on Friday
- McBride: stiffer than Hayden Christiansen's acting in the Star Wars prequels
- Kwenkeu; 2 penalties on ST...
- Short yardage running / screen game; still having troubles
- Cine; I didn't think he played particularly well
