The delusions around Sam Bradford continue to this day. Of the 3 QBs on the roster in 2017, he was statistically worse in pretty much every category including winning%.
His 2016 season was arguably worse than Ponders 2012 one. He lead an offense with Adam Thielen and Stephon Diggs in their primes to be bottom 10 in scoring. Awful.
I am sure a career of ineptitude was all going to change in 2017 though.
It feels like if the QB has a solid arm it doesn't matter about the rest anymore. Cousins gets the same type of treatment from some despite his flaws but at least he is solid/above average. Bradford just wasn't very good at any point.
As to the thread and rankings I find it funny that they ranked the Keenum season over Cousins best one here given the constant discussions. Also having him in the Geno/Carr/Jimmy G tier of QB's. 3rd on the biggest disappointment list too the year after his signing. All while being after Dante as our 2nd best QB all time in another thread.
At this point I honestly just think the grading scale for MN QB's is completely out of whack. The bar has been set so low that even bad QB's get propped up.
