We've talked in another thread about Simms' other QB rankings, like putting Matt Corral as the top QB in the 2022 class and Kellen Mond as a top 4 QB in 2021... he likes to make his rankings conflict with the consensus and he's been wrong more often than the consensus is.

The consensus of draftniks means very little. It's the consensus of NFL GMs that matters. It's always easy to find a couple of stances that an analyst turns out wrong on. My recollection is he's right far more often than the draftnik consensus. I'm going to see if I can place a bet that Maye drops out of the top 10. I can probably get odds if I don't wait too long.

Most places don't place draft odds this early and only have the most basic ones (like who goes in the top 5). Maye is -130 to go #2 and +160 to go #3, so the odds of him going below that are going to pay out quite high. Personally, I'd wait until Maye's pro day to see what people are saying.

Ah, looks like the source I used didn't include the 7th we got in the Dobbs trade. I will fix that.

This worked out well. McCarthy seems to always be available at 11 and this time Murphy II fell. I went BPA modified to need the rest of the way.
