Is this what fans are looking for at QB?

The real problem you have is who you replace captain gravitational pull with? I don't think anyone else is a fair answer. It's a cop out. Derrick Carr is going to cost about the same and probably produce similar results. Geno Smith? I think if he's smart, he stays in Seattle. I would if I were him, but to be fair, I think he's a downgrade. If he leaves, he's chasing more money now, but he probably makes less money overall. Baker Mayfield? I think he's a bet to the upside and would be cheaper. Not sure I trust his ego (or his health behind our line), but that's probably the logical choice if you're going to gamble. You're going to win big or lose big. He'll be cheaper, that's for sure. I suppose trading Kirk (assuming he plays ball or alternatively signing Mayfield to a 2 year deal with a high bonus/low salary in year 1 as a prove it option) and rolling with Baker isn't the worst option in that we might be picking high in 24 or 25 if the wheels fall off the bus so to speak, but I don't think Kwesi/KOC have enough capital built up with the Wilfs to pull that move off, do you? I think you have to factor that in, because those two are perpetually fighting for their jobs, and you and I both know that a move like that if it ends up being a colossal failure (which I'd say the odds would be pretty decent) could possibly cost one or both their jobs and be career limiting moves. 

We're drafting way too late to get someone.  I'm not sold on Richardson, even if he falls. I'm not against Hooker if he's there in round 4, but let's be honest, you're probably throwing away that pick like we did with Mond, as that's the risk with that kind of pick... so, you're in option B I assume.  Who exactly is your anyone else?  I do think that's a fair ask to anyone who simply says anyone but Kirk. NFL QBs aren't exactly plug and play.
