From that pie chart above:
I know I did this before, but it's changed a bit.
For sure gone by 23:
3 QB's. Stroud, Richardson and Young
3 CB's. No way Spoon or Porter slip that far and Gonzalez will for sure be gone
3 OT's. Johnson, Skoronski, Jones
3 edge. Anderson, Wilson, Murphy
1 DI. Carter
2 WRs. Two of Johnston, Smith-Njigba, Addison, Flowers
1 TE. I think we're safe to assume at least one will go.
That's 16 picks. So six more to get to the vikes.
Candidates for those six:
QB - Levis, Hooker
CB - Banks, Forbes, Cam Smith
DE - Van Ness, Nolan Smith, Will McDonald, BJ Ojulari, Uzomah
WR - Two of the four mentioned above and maybe Downs and Hyatt
TE - One more could go between Washington, Mayer and Kincaid. Hopefully 2
RB - Bijan
OT - Harrison and Jones
G - Torrence
S - Branch
DI - Kancey, Bresee, Mazi Smith
LB - Sanders, Henley, Campbell
Of that list, there are 29 guys. And of course there are gonna be some surprises. So add about 5 more making it 50 total.
Of the potential available, I would consider Bresee, Levis and Banks at 23.
But the question is how far? Assuming those 3 I mentioned are gone, that's 19 total gone. There are about 11-12 I'd be interested in further down from the rest. And I am excluding pretty much all the receivers, TEs, OTs, RB and some others. So I think it's pretty safe to move down to anywhere from 30 or so to about 40 or so. Maybe 45.
My goal would be to get more in the top 100 or at least to stay on day 2 as much as possible. Current pick is worth 245 on the Hill model. Lots of options to move down with the teams in that 30-40 range.
