I'm warming up to Richardson if he falls (not that I think he will, someone will over pay and regret it like the 49ers with Lance).
I'm liking Jaren Hall more and more.
Come on, man. You're usually better than this. 13 total starts? Improved decision making comes through repetition. He just hasn't had many games to develop. Mechanics can be fixed. His deep ball is lethal AND he can house it from the 20 with his legs. He's also Josh Allen-huge.
Let's also factor in that the Gatorbait WRs aren't very good and had plenty of drops. And he was developing in the best Conference against the most draftable players.
His ceiling is higher than Lamar Jackson. He's demonstrated better touch and ball placement time and time again. Anthony just needs consistency with both the touch and placement. And that will come via fixing his sloppy mechanics. And sitting on an NFL Bench for a year learning the full intricacies of being a QB.
The small sample size is why it's so risky. But the flashes and competition level blow away anything compared to similar small sample size guys like Lance. Heck, Allen had twice as many starts against far inferior competition and was considered raw.
I'm not advocating for trading into the Top 10 to get him. Minnesota is 1 year away from being ready to have the assets to move up to get a potential QBOTF to pair with a good enough Roster with capital to improve it. This simply isn't the right time.
But if he somehow fell to #23? As long as Kevin thinks he can teach up the sloppy mechanics and slow the game down a tick it would be an absolute no-brainer.
