Setting up Seattle in MN and we win. Then we go on to beat whoever in the Super Bowl. The one thing I worry about is this. The Super Bowl is in AZ. Which is indoors, but has a grass field. The Vikes don't do as well on grass, but, they have all been outside.

I don't ask for much.

Ok that's a wish list or wet dream, not an expectation. This is why I asked for a clarification, is this about what you expect the team to do, or what you want them to do lol. 2 different things.

Yeah that's the wildcard here, and not just Purdy, but Danny Dimes and Geno. They're all making their first playoff start, so who knows what kind of jitters these guys are going to have.

However, Purdy has that defense to rely on, which Geno has to face, so I don't see an upset happening there. Purdy just has to be a game manager.

Heck, Hurts doesn't even have a lot of playoff experience either and he might have to go up against Tom Brady, again. That was his only other playoff start last year, at Tampa Bay. When I think about it, Tom might be the only NFC playoff QB I fear this year lol. No wait, Kirk is still the one I fear most. *whistle*

Meanwhile, the moral victory club, formerly known as the "at least we're not Detroit club" seems to be content with merely a divisional round appearance.

Expectation: a strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future:

There's no element of "belief" when you expect something to happen. It happens or there's consequences.

I think you really are confused by what should be a simple task, and this is because you've over analyzed the task and confused word definitions. So here's some help:

Expectations are what we think will happen, while reality is what actually transpires.

You keep talking about expectations as what you expect to happen, when we can see from the above definition from a very wise person that you are a little confused.
So when I voted that the Vikings lose the Wildcard round, that is what I think will happen.

Saying "I expect the Vikings will win the SB" is what you think will happen, when in actuality you don't really think it will happen, you just have a desire or ~~blind~~ hope that it will happen.
So taking all this into account, I think you should go back and revisit the task, and amend your response to the poll accordingly *thumb_up*

But in between was the sh*t sandwich of Ed Donatell's defense giving up 400+ as predicted (442). And that was the difference. They make swiss cheese look solid.
