I highly doubt I'm the only one who has this issue, but curious what others are thinking.
I've seen many Vikings teams who have appeared to be very good teams (especially defensively) who have made the playoffs, who we could have expected a nice playoff run from, only to disappoint in the playoffs.
Knowing this team is 10-2 with many narrow wins, and a bit of luck, and a defense that I would not yet call even a "good defense", how do I realistically go into the playoffs expecting anything more than either an upset loss in a #2 vs #6 seed matchup where our luck simply runs out, or at best, proceeding to the divisional round or NFC Championship where we no doubt get thumped by someone as we have typically done with defenses (or offenses) that are far superior to this one.
Is the hope that we need to cling to simply "Luck is on our side" and that because of this, we'll get to the Super Bowl (and possibly win unlike the 1985 New England Patriots who were another team to "luck" their way into a Super Bowl.
