I think it's adorable when Kirko has a bad game and the 'stans pull out the stats of when Mahomes, Brady, et al had a bad game to try and prove some sort of point. The irony of pulling up a Super Bowl boxscore is lost on them lol. Here's the difference. Yeah, anyone can have a bad game, but Kirko doesn't need everything to go wrong around him to have a bad game, he can have them all on his own. What he can't do, is win in primetime, consistently beat teams above .500, get to a conference championship, much less a Super Bowl, and he's only won the division once in the past 6 years. Unlike all these other QB's. When Kirko can throw a team on his back and will them to victory on a big stage, then you can complain about the unfair criticism, otherwise he's never earned it. That's the difference! Wow cool, he has a few 4th QCB against Detroit on Sunday.
Besides, these other QB's are capable of winning games when everyone around them is letting them down too, or they at least keep the game respectable. Kirko has never proven to have that ability, and the games usually end up looking like this one, a complete bed sh*tting.
If he was pressured on 60% of the snaps, what went wrong on the other 40%? The pocket was clean 40% of the time but he only got this offense across midfield once? A single TD drive? Look at that, I just gave the poor guy credit for the Hockenson drop. But one whole drive? Which was essentially our scripted drive? Yeah ok, the OL sh*t the bed, so what? Do something! And I don't mean run play action to start the 2nd half when you're down 30-3.
Do we think Kirko is going to have a perfect pocket throughout the playoffs? Do people understand the playoffs are full of good coaches and players who know how to create chaos for the QB? That's why they're in the playoffs! Stop making excuses, and expect more. We lose 40-3 and the purple sunshine brigade is working OT at the excuse factory today. tHe LoSs MeANs nOtHiNg because the 2020 Bucs lost a home game 38-3 REEEEEEEEEEE!!!
