Maybe this is the year we see a decent amount of trades? C'mon NFL, make it happen!

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports teams are "keeping an eye" on Kadarius Toney.
"Mostly, teams want to know what's up with Toney, whose obvious talent has been overshadowed," Fowler adds. Us too, teams. Both Toney and Darius Slayton, are listed as potential trade candidates for the Giants, as they have seemed to be for about six months now.

I've heard Rams and 49ers as options for McCaffrey. The Rams make a ton of sense with whatever is happening with Cam Akers and their desperate need for more firepower on offense.

All I needed to do was wait a few hours!

The 49ers now boast a crazy deep set of weapons on offense - Samuel, McCaffrey, Kittle, and Aiyuk make up a scary good core. The division is there for the taking with the Rams looking battered by injuries, though the 49ers also have their share of injuries on the OL and defense.

The Seahawks have made cornerback Sidney Jones available, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. While the organization would prefer to keep the veteran, they’re willing to listen to offers with Jones buried on the depth chart.

Jones has some experience as a slot CB, and could make sense as a Chandon Sullivan replacement, or at least a backup to him.

Moves back closer to home to a team that is actually in win now mode. Panthers are on a downward slope fast.

ESPN's Dan Graziano reports teams expect Steelers WR Chase Claypool to be available ahead of the NFL trade deadline.
Pittsburgh shopped Claypool this preseason but didn't find any takers. The Panthers' Christian McCaffrey trade gives the Steelers a baseline to get a deal done with Claypool, who has a better contract situation than McCaffrey, with Pittsburgh asking teams for "multiple" Day 2 picks

Here's a PPA prediction - the Packers will trade for Claypool.

Franchises looking for an upgrade at receiver should have their opportunities before the trade deadline comes, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. While the Panthers seem determined to hold onto D.J. Moore, it appears that Texans wideout Brandin Cooks, Steelers receiver Chase Claypool, and Broncos pass catcher Jerry Jeudy are all names generating interest in the trade markets.

Cooks understands being traded, having being moved 3 different times already! Jeudy getting moved would be confusing, as the Broncos were thought to have been going all-in this year.

The Bears only get a 4th rounder for him. He only counts $7.8M on the cap for the Eagles, and 'Bears will retain a not yet confirmed amount of salary per the trade to Philadelphia'. He notched 18.5 sacks last year, but has been off to a poor start this year. He replaces Derek Barnett, who was put on the IR after Week 1.

Yeah, I guess the two main phrases are 'great minds think alike' or 'sharing the same brain cell', with one being much more flattering than the other... but I think the idea of 'sharing' is what made me use that one. Maybe it's one reeeaaally big cell?
