Only a 16 way tie for 1st this week. In fact only 2 of us schlubs didn't tie for 1st, but at least I didn't tie for last haha. As the DNP (did not play) list grows. All the upsets lost again this week. Still not sure if we should count that as a perfect week xD. It's a conundrum.

Too bad we won't be able to pick against Cleveland next week!

Yeah I like that idea too. We've tossed around a few changes for next year. I've suggested we go with the pick-6, cuz y'know, it's football after all haha. And I think that would help us get away from 16 way ties for 1st place xD. We could add a conference pick and a non conference pick, or just go with 2 more wildcard picks.

I also like the idea of having makeup picks for those who forget to make their picks. Once someone gets a DNP they tend to drop out, so maybe having makeup picks would help keep people playing until the end, or could help late starters get caught up. 10 DNP's this week, which is almost half the league. Last year 85 people played, but by week 9 it was already down to 29, and 17 by week 17.

Maybe even bring back the balls of steel pick, but only if a team is a 10-12 point underdog or something crazy. Chicago should never be a balls of steel pick when they play the Lions at home lol. *whistle*

Yeah keeping people playing after missing is a challenge. I experience it with Velspar. Almost need a text or email reminder. Overlooked at offering a weekly prize or drawing wit entries for participating but that costs money
Love the pick 6 great name and intention having a confidence type pick would be an option assigning a bigger point reward based on how confident you are of your pick.

No, there should not be a doubleup,so you can't pick the same team twice.It's actually a more challenging pick than you think,and picking whoever plays the Browns would be a massive mistake.
Here's the results so far:

Week 1	Rams over Colts	46-9
Week 2	Broncos over Cowboys	42-17
Week 3	Jaguars over Ravens	44-7
Week 4	Texans over Titans	57-14
Week 5	Eagles over Cardinals	34-7
Week 6	Texans over Browns	33-17
Week 7	Jaguars over Colts	27-0
Week 8	Ravens over Dolphins	40-0

So as you can see,even with two teams at 0-8 on the season,combined they have only figured once as the "biggest loser".And the Ravens have been on both ends of it while the Jaguars have twice had the biggest winning margin.
I'm betting that not many people would have guessed that.

I'm all for changing things up a bit for next season, HOWEVER, I am NOT going to make it super complicated. Part of the reason that this game is so fun IS because it's so simple. It's so simple, yet, none of us know anything from a week-to-week basis. We're literally picking 4 winners, and can't even do that right! Some weeks, it's pretty hilarious how bad we all suck.

Like with Case, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

But yeah, we can sort through some of this stuff during the long, boring offseason. It'll give us something to discuss.
