There were 3 pick 6's in Super Bowl 37 by the Bucs D. Johnson had 2 TD's 1 INT and 215 yards. It was all about the Bucs defense. It was called Tampa 2 and was copied around the league for a reason.

FTR: I always liked and respected Brad. He took a very unconventional route to becoming an NFL starter and a Superbowl winning QB. This was not meant to be a knock on him. Just better examples could be made. Tampa was all about D for a decade. Gruden tried to replace Brad and never could. Why Gruden got to be some kinda QB whisper is beyond me. He won when he had established vets he couldn't screw up.

12.25 point for Tampa's defense during the year and it's the defense. 15.25 point for the defense when Rodgers won and it's Rodgers. 13.1 when Favre won and it was Favre. I'd like to know what the cutoff is for when it's no longer just the defense. 14 points? 13? We should probably go back and Take hard look at Bart Starr. After all, 11.1 point per game on defense that first Super Bowl was pretty impressive, even for that time period.
