KOC in a loss - "this is on me"

Not to hammer on the owners because compared to previous owners or group of owners they have put their money where their mouth is. However culture has been their defining factor since the beginning. As has meddling. It's their team their right.
Look back to when they fired Tice after a 9-7 season as punishment for his love boat culture as much as his record. Honestly who could have won with that shell of an organization, scouting and front office staff of Red the Cheap? In comes Childress not only for his supposed abilities but to be a hard @ss sheriff. Look how it ended. His final season was a disaster and there was talk of the owners having a private meeting with team vets to gauge team feeling toward the hard @ss they hired. Ok?? Something I remembered reading about back then. You think that didn't have negative effect? Childress cuts Moss out of anger. The players would have a meeting or whispers I'm sure to discuss what they heard in this private meeting that may have happened. Regardless they were forced into firing a coach for being partly what they hired him to be. The hard @ss anti players coach only to replace him with a guy who the players liked and responded well to for a few games. This is why I believe they refused to give up on Zimmer. They put thought into it. They thought they had matching visions and dang it this IS the one finally. Now we flip back to group hugging it out team friendship building mentality or some such sh!t. Maybe there's only so much any coach can accomplish when the leaders are so unfocused in any one vision?
