There was some "whoa! ISM is going to be the Bears #2 or #3 WR!" takes going on after the Bears picked up ISM. Returning kicks shouldn't take long to pick up. If he's not going to return kicks, and it isn't immediately apparent that he's better than staff like Dante Pettis, Byron Pringle, Equanimeous St. Brown, or Velus Jones... then what the heck is he doing?

Only returning punts, Reagor didn't have a single snap on offense. And since ISM isn't going to be a returner for Chicago, he'll have to pick up the offense and jump one/some of the aforementioned group, which is something he wasn't likely going to do in the week and a half going up to opening day. Give him a few weeks and we'll see - WR injuries are not rare, he'll probably get a shot sooner than later.

Skor North were the ones who hyped him up as "he'd be the Packers and Bears' #2 WR!", and I chalked that up to simple hyping up of our own prospects. I never liked him as a prospect so I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't end up doing much there.

less worried than I was the packers D line. And DET ran wild on them.

more worried about their o line giving fields time.

I think everyone is overlooking the fact that part of the reason we looked good against Green Bay is because we had ZERO on tape for them to study. The Eagles will have a little tape to work with, and future opponents will have even more tape to dissect. So can Kevin and Ed keep coming up with new wrinkles to keep teams guessing, or will they be easy to figure out?

Reality: I think you mean bigger impact on EXPECTATIONS for the team, not raw impact?

Reality: Ummmm... Andy Reid hasn't been there for years... at some point you need to adjust your expectations

I do appreciate the update. I saw he had no stats but didn't read enough to see he was inactive.

That said...ten days ago his "loss" was filling some here with woe. Not saying he won't play for them, but if he was the talent some argued, two weeks would have been plenty to wow his way into their lineup.

Stefon Diggs wasn't the only offensive player that helped Josh Allen get better. The Bills built a good offense around Allen by adding Dawson Knox, Delvin Singletary, Cole Beasley, Zack Moss, and Gabriel Davis during the past few years.

Speed? Hicks and Kendricks are over 30. In their Primes I wouldn't expect them to keep pace with Hurts and those Primes are in the past.

So a pair of Rookies who haven't played a single regular season snap are the Vikings best chance at stopping Hurts from scrambling and on RPOs? Yikes!

This game is going to come down to 2 Factors: Can the D-Line plus Z and Hunter stay in their rush lanes? And can Minnesota run the ball enough to chew up some clock and keep Hurts on the sideline.

If the answers are Yes then Minnesota will win.

People on this forum were going on how about inaccurate Allen was and how disappointed Diggs would be going from Cousins to Allen. Josh was still rough in year 2 (or at least that was my perception around the NFL at the time), but his stats took a major jump forward (17 more TDs, 9.4% more accurate, 6.7 Y/A to 7.9).

I agree with your point that Diggs was not the whole reason why that happened, but it was a big one. I don't expect Hurts to have a meteoric rise like Allen did in Year 3, but I do think his passing numbers will improve having a top 10 WR to throw to, replacing the targets that would have went to Quez Watkins/Jalen Reagor.
