I currently live in Rockford, IL....it sucks. Got Bears and Packer fools all around me and it makes me very, very sad.


When/why did you become a Viking Fan?


I was born and raised in northern Minnesota. (Warroad, specifically) I am a 3rd generation Vikes fan. (My two boys are fans now, so that's too bad for them. lol) I hope that I live to see the Vikes hoist the Lombardi before I croak, unlike both my grandparents and my old man.


Who was/is your favorite player(s)?

I love Moss and Peterson on the pointy end of the ball, and on the blunt side I enjoy me a little Harrison Smith and Jared Allen.

Randy Moss perpetrating a full moon canned hams to the dregs at Lambeau field.

I watch the Wild and see them regularly when they come to get the sh*t kicked out of them by the Blackhawks. I enjoy pro gaming, as well as catching an occasional Twins game when they're playing the Sox or Cubs.

I love football, porno, and books about war. lol jk on the books about war.
I love video games, all things computer, brewing beer, and drinking said beer. I love my sons and my wife dearly and find myself doing activities I normally never would have because of them like crafts (or as I call them, Crapfts). I also enjoy the presence of my two cats, Paul and Allen who are both Lions fans. 8)

I am a software engineer for an aerospace company here in Rockford.

Star Trek is #1 in my book, followed by Star Wars, you know....your standard nerd fare and I don't have a fanboy paradigm either. They're both rad. I like Archer, Hells Kitchen, Marvel movies, One Piece, Attack on Titan...alot of stuff really. Hard to list things like that. Aside from Star Trek, my favorite non-nerd show is Little House on the Prairie.

I dig all of fantasy and scifi mainstays, currently i'm reading the hard science space opera called 'Revelation Space' But my #1 favorite read is Where the Red Fern Grows.

I have a potty mouth, which translates into potty fingers. I always try to type like I talk, which doesn't always bode well. But i'll try to keep it pg-13.
I am full blooded norweigan and am bitter that I have to live away from my homeland, but such is life. Hard to find programming work in the frozen North.
I miss fishing Lake of the Woods, hunting, trapping, and most of all, I miss all of my family back home. We'd gather at whoevers turn it was to host and all 40+ of the Anderson clan would watch the Vikings, eat until bloated, and swill copious amounts of beer. Now I sit by myself...which is fine...no one is around to see my tears from yet another losing season. lol

When/why did you become a Viking Fan? 1966. Watching the Vikings and Packers play on TV. We had a brand new "Color" TV. Yes kids, TV used to be in black and white, and only had 3-4 channels you could watch.

What is your favorite Viking Memory? Being in the Met Dec, 1979. Buffalo Bills. Jim Marshalls last home game. 32 degrees at game time 22 wind chill. Had a leather wine flask filled with 7 and 7.
