Yes Joseph is now firmly in Blair Walsh territory. To date he hasnt cost us a game, but he sure has changed the play calling with his wiffs.

Its always a bad sign to go into the playoffs with Kicker who misses like he does. No doubt the guy is stressed out and he is pressing it a little. I think what he needs to do is relax, and not dwell on it when he is playing.

Whoaaa, that's kicker psychology 101. But it doesn't seem like they can be fixed once they break, and if he isn't broken he's badly cracked.

Now now its not a lie and that is a big stretch. Maybe hes a good actor but I thought he was in distress. BTW Blair Walsh did miss a field goal that cost a game,

Did you realize there were 11 FGs and 3 extra points missed this past week. 16 games were played. One of the FGs was blocked.

Why do you care so much what happens to other kickers? Most here want to replace Joseph because he misses EP's. Easy chip ins. That isnt except able. I dont trust him with FGs either, esp. over 50 yards, which other kickers nail all the time.

He'll be hurting a lot more if he misses a 35 yard FG to win the game in the first round of playoffs.
He needs to get sorted, if the ST coach can't do it then bring in a kicking coach. If they already have a kicking coach he's not doing his job, so find another one.

Kicking is about routine and technique, something has changed in one or both of these areas. Any competent coach should be able to rectify the issue.

I don't, the larger issue is there's not really a demonstrably better option at this point. So it's the devil you know or the devil you don't.

I don't. I simply posted a nice example of how often NFL kickers miss and that was only in week 12.

11 50+ yard FGs were missed in the last 3 weeks.

I know a devil named Greg Joseph and I'll go with him this season and not worry about someone else.

Do you know of any broken kickers who have been fixed? I tried to research it but ran out of gas. I mean kickers sometimes go through bad spells, but at some point a bad spell becomes a broken kicker and I just haven't turned up any fixed ones. Walsh..broken..Foreskin...broken...Bailey....broken

Dan Carlson...bad spell...fixed. Greg Joseph...looks broken...
