Here is a little tidbit from Aaron on the status of the WR corp after just one preseason game. Of which he did not play against the 49ers.

I watched the game last Friday night (and the GB Family night practice the week before) so here are a few things that I noticed about the Packers. Yes, I am aware it's way to early to judge but so far, Aaron is spot on about his WR's not being disciplined with their routes. Cobb, Lazard, and Sammy Watkins are probably the frontrunners to start week 1 so they didn't see much action, if any at all. Watkins looks slow. They are hyping up Rodgers (return guy), 4th round pick Doubs, and their 7th round pick Toure, who looked pretty good. Rodgers has a bit of an issue with ball security which could be exploited. The kid from NDSU (Watson) is injured. I didn't realize the drafted 3 WR's this year.
As for their 1 round picks, Quay Walker amd Davonte Wyatt weren't that impactful against the Niners OLine. Walker started but still looks lost and can be swallowed up by OG's getting to the 2nd level (not trying to be bias, but Asamouh looks further ahead so far). As for Wyatt, not sure if he even played, never saw or heard his name mentioned except for when they were talking about moving Kenny Clarke a little further outside, like over a OG's outisde shoulder. Lucky for Bradbury in week 1, if true and it will be a nice battle to watch Clarke vs Ingram. Overall, I think the Packers are going to get off to a slow start this year and the Vikings may have lucked out in getting them at home in week 1. Still won't get cocky because Rogers makes all Wr's a threat and the Packers are still the team to beat.
As for the Niners, Trey Lance brings a deep ball threat that SF hasn't had for a few years. SMU Rookie WR Danny Gray looks like the real deal and could be very impactful this season for them. We won't see Lance play on Saturday night but rookie QB Brock Purdy we wil see and that kid has moxie. IDK just a few thoughts to share.
