I would likely be on the #FireKAM bandwagon if this happens. Not because I like Cousins and want him around longer, but because they should have moved him this season. Instead they invested cap space in aging vets to try to compete now, and they will be better for having done so. That just means they'll win more likely meaningless games and see their draft position fall in a draft in which you'd expect they'd be looking for their future at the QB position, assuming they move Cousins next off season.
I said before I was in the rebuild mindset rather than reload. To see them reload, only to suffer longer because of it would be so very Vikings.
If they can acknowledge they were wrong and basically everyone else was right about where this team is at a year earlier it saves us half the wait. There is no point wasting yet another year and digging your feet in if the one thing you claimed would change everything didn't (coach change). We will have seen it play out by then.
Ya it would suck that we wasted one season but at least we wouldn't be wasting 2. If we waste 2 years then likely have to rebuild anyways as Cousins/Adam/Harrison/Smith/Hicks/Peterson etc. age and probably move on from Cook as well that's worse than realizing the mistake earlier and getting some value.
