Let me explain it to the simpletons on the board. There are hundreds of possible charges under terms “sexual assault” in all states. From exposing oneself to rape. To assume the man was charged with the worst possible crime under the term is just disingenuous and unfair. So, if you want to make the claim he raped someone, you need to back that up, not deflect.
As you your bs OJ analogy, I don’t think he did do it. I think it was his son. Anyone who did that crime was covered in blood, not just one or two drops.
Noe, back up you claim of rape.
According to the documents, Ingram was first accused of putting his fingers in the older sister’s vagina while she was sleeping. She says she told him she did not like it and wanted him to stop, which he did. The victim told her mother and one other person, whose relationship to her is not made clear in the documents, that Ingram “would put his hand down [her] pants and touch her private part.”
The younger sister says she saw Ingram pull her sister’s pants down, and also heard her telling Ingram to stop. The younger sister also alleged a similar assault, and the documents outline a suite of other accusations, which include Ingram assaulting them anally and vaginally with his penis “on more than one occasion” over a period that spans one year. Both victims told adults about what happened, and the case was referred to DeSoto Child Protective Services.

Doesn't matter what you call it, though. 16 or not, this is messed up. That's everyone's point. And, no, this isn't as easily forgiven to all of us as it is you. It's an extremely sensitive topic, probably because most of us know of someone who has been impacted by this sort of thing. To see it openly downplayed on a regular basis in the name of sports is ... concerning.
But this back and forth will go to Off Topic and die soon if people would rather talk condescendingly about this very serious issue rather than using the tactful tone that is required. Try to be a bit more respectful.
