only I would bring back are Woods, PP, and Alexander (vet min)
Peterson is going to be looking for $8M a year or more, and probably 2/3 years.
I think this is a bad trade made worse by trading for Minshew... yuck!
What's wrong with Minshew? He seems like a perfectly fine bridge QB with the potential for more.
The only change I "might" make, emphasis on the might, would be to take Stngley Jr. over Gardner, even though last season gives cause for concern, the talent and pure physical ability he possesses is undeniable.
I don't think Stingley Jr. was available in the simulation I did, but they are close. I think I'd err on the side of Gardner due to his durability.
My #1 guy until I saw his hand size was Pickett. He is a playmaker in the mode of Mahomes, Rodgers and Wilson, buying time with his legs for his guys to get downfield. Good accuracy, good arm, the concerns of course are his hand size and lack of success prior to 2021.
He reminds me of Trubisky - same build, both are mobile, and both only had the one good year in college. One year wonders always concern me...
As iv stated multiple times the thing I'd hate to see the most is to trade future first round picks to move up and draft a QB in any year let alone a bad QB year... But if you take a 2nd round QB are you gonna say at some point he HAS to have a shot at starting... Thinking TJack.. it's just more QB uncertainty and possibly wasted time. And in a good QB year is Strong a 2nd rounder? So are we reaching to boot...
From what I can tell, Strong is a typical 2nd round QB - since it's a weak class he could get pushed up to the end of the 1st round.
